In Memory of Dr. Jens Goebel
August 19, 1961 - October 25, 2025
Dr. Jens Goebel was a respected pediatric nephrologist whose compassion, insight, and unwavering dedication transformed the lives of countless children and families. A visionary leader in pediatric nephrology and transplantation, he was also a gifted mentor, an inspiring teacher, and a cherished friend to many.
In honor of Jens’ memory, IROC—the collaborative that he helped found and lead—has established this monthly session for all who are interested in joining a thoughtful discussion about an interesting case.
All who wish to learn, share, and grow in Jens’ memory are warmly invited to join.
