As IROC celebrates 10 years of advancing care and improving outcomes, we pause to reflect on the journey that has brought us here. Together, we look beyond today's horizon toward a future filled with opportunity. Through the unveiling of our five-year strategic plan, this Learning Session will serve as both a celebration of accomplishments and a launch point for the next chapter of innovation, partnership, and impact.

IROC learning sessions are valuable opportunities for our entire learning health network community—patients, parents, caregivers, clinicians, researchers, and other site team members—to come together to build community, learn about the network’s latest work, share learnings, discuss important topics, and outline key actions to take through the next six-month period. The timeframe following a learning session is called the action period. Learning sessions are meant to inform and catalyze the work of the action period with the ultimate goal of partnering with patients who have kidney disease and their families to improve health, longevity, and quality of life.
Objectives for this fall's session include:
Reflect on the Journey: Celebrate key milestones, lessons learned, and transformative successes from IROC's first decade.
Align Around the Horizon: Build shared understanding and commitment to the strategic vision and priorities that will guide IROC through the next five years.
Advance the Practice and Ignite Innovation: Strengthen improvement, leadership, and operational capabilities through focused education and peer learning. Explore new ideas and opportunities that will accelerate progress across the network.
Connect the Community: Deepen relationships among patients, families, clinicians, researchers, and partners.
Launch the Next Chapter: Leave with renewed purpose, actionable plans, and a collective commitment to achieving the vision ahead.
